Tournament Guidlines
Eligibility
The tournament is open to all registered players.
Divisions will be based on skill level.
BEGINNER: Players with little to NO tournament experience and basic understanding of the game. Players with tennis experience may join as long as they haven’t entered any minor/major tournament in tennis, purely recreational.
All complaints must be submitted before the tournament starts. Once verified, decisions are final. No complaints will be accepted during the tournament.
Organizers will do their best to verify players’ eligibility, but your help is appreciated. Please report any ineligible players in advance.
Tournament Format
The format will be round robin.
FWANGO – Official Tournament Platform will be used.
Standard Matches: Played to 11 points, sudden death.
Semis: Played to 11 points, win by 2 (multiple slides)
Finals: Played to 15 points, win by 2 (multiple slides)
Scoring and Rules
Standard Pickleball rules will apply unless otherwise specified.
Only the serving team can score points.
Umpires must call the score before each serve.
Umpires will call the kitchen line; Players must call the baseline. Disputes will be resolved by the Umpires/Organizers, whose decisions are final.
Player Conduct
Good sportsmanship is required at all times.
Unsportsmanlike conduct (e.g., verbal abuse, throwing paddles, taunting) will result in:

Failure to appear for a scheduled match within 5 minutes of call time will result in a default (forfeit).
In case of injury, a player may request a medical time-out of up to 5 minutes only.
After the 5-minute time-out, the match must resume. Failure to continue will be considered a default.
Only players whose names are officially registered may play on the court. Substitutions or unregistered players will result in a forfeit of the match.
Disqualification Rules
Playing in the wrong skill or division.
Repeated misconduct or unsportsmanlike behavior.
Violation of tournament rules after an official warning.
Please note that entries are non-refundable once a participant is disqualified.
Organizers Authority
Organizers have full authority to interpret and enforce rules.
All decisions by referees or organizers are final and binding.
Organizers may adjust format, schedule, or rules as needed to ensure fairness and smooth tournament flow.
Miscellaneous
Players must bring their own paddles; official balls will be provided.
Proper athletic attire and non-marking court shoes are required.
Hydration stations and first aid will be available, but players are encouraged to bring personal supplies.
Food Hubs will be available in the premise.
